Camden Songwriting Circle

A community space in North London for musicians and music lovers to come together for feedback, insights and memorable music experiences.

"The Camden Songwriting Circle is doing it like no one else. They create a supportive and inspiring space to share your art with likeminded cool individuals. I have made connections there as a performer and spectator."

The Camden Songwriting Circle is a London-based project fostering a collaborative community of local musicians and music enthusiasts. We run two types of events monthly aimed at creating a supportive environment that facilitates artistic growth and builds meaningful connections without financial constraints — a space we, as organisers and independent musicians, personally struggled to previously find.

Our Events

Songwriting Feedback and Networking Sessions

This platform invites musicians to sign up and share their unfiltered work. It’s both a networking opportunity for creatives that can lead to future collaborations, as well as an opportunity to get feedback from the audience about songwriting development, sparking positive discussions about one’s craft and artistic journey.

Free entry, although donations are always welcome.

No tickets required!

Songwriting Circles

Inspired by the songwriting circles of Nashville, these events shine a spotlight on select musicians in our community, offering them a stage to present their original music. In this setting, musicians sit together to have open and honest discussions with the audience, delving into their unique journeys, cultures, genres and creative processes. A great space for music lovers to meet new and unique artists. We end our events with an audience to artist Q&A to learn more about the process behind the music.

Free entry, although donations are always welcome.

Tickets to be reserved here: https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/camdensongwritingcircle/

Tuesdays at 7pm

Through free events like the Songwriting Feedback and Networking Sessions as well as the Songwriting Circles, founders Melanie Percy and Caroline Zandona provide platforms for musicians to share, discuss, and showcase their work. In a city often characterized by isolation, we aim to build social ties and support emerging independent musicians with an active and attentive audience.
